API v1 · developers and assistants

The API v1 tools: Vega’s calculations, in JSON

The same tools as Vega, the site’s chat: each calculates one thing, to the place and the minute, and returns it as JSON. No account, no key, read-only; one page per tool says what it takes, its options and what it returns.

How it works

  • One address per tool: https://montheme.fr/api/v1/<tool>, with GET (parameters in the address) or POST (a JSON body). GET https://montheme.fr/api/v1 returns the catalogue.
  • A birth is given as on the site’s pages: date, heure, ville (or lat, lon, tz), pays, prenom; two people: date1, date2… with GET, personne1 and personne2 in JSON.
  • The response: { outil, version, partage, resultat }. resultat never contains the birth details; partage.lien is the chart’s page on the site, to give to the person.
  • Open CORS, no authentication; 60 calls a minute and 2,000 a day per IP address. lang=en for English (keys stay in French).
  • The same calculation as the site: positions, dates and periods come from the calculation, never from an estimate. Please credit the source.

The tools

Each tool has its page: what it takes, its options, a call with GET, with POST and through the MCP server, and the real response of the example.

With the MCP server

The same tools, under the same names, are in the site’s MCP server (https://montheme.fr/api/mcp): a birth is given as birth (or person1 and person2), and the response comes as structured JSON.

The specification

The OpenAPI 3.1, generated from the same list of tools: https://montheme.fr/api/openapi.json
