Can ChatGPT calculate your birth chart?
It talks about it very well. But used as is, it does not calculate your sky: it estimates it. Here is what we do differently, and how to check it yourself in two minutes.
It talks about astrology, it does not calculate your sky
ChatGPT is a language model: it predicts plausible text, it does not calculate a position. Used as is, without a calculation tool, it answers from memory. For your Sun sign, that almost always works; for the rest, it is an estimate. Tests published by astrology websites found wrong positions for the Moon, Venus or Mars, even for a simple date.
Yet your chart lives in the details. The Ascendant moves about one degree every four minutes and changes sign roughly every two hours on average: it sets your twelve houses. The Moon stays a little over two days in each sign, so on more than four days out of ten it changes sign during the day. One hour, one time zone or one town off, and everything shifts.
An example: summer time in 1975
Take a birth in Paris on 12 July 1975 at 9:10 am. In 1975, France had no summer time yet: it was 8:10 in universal time, and the Ascendant is in Virgo. Apply today’s summer time, as one does without thinking, and the calculation starts an hour too early: the Ascendant becomes Leo. The houses slide with it, and the whole reading changes.
The same goes for a birth in wartime France, when the country ran on German time, or in any country whose summer time changed several times: the site knows these historical time zones, place by place.
Today’s sky, calculated for you
“Is Saturn touching my Moon right now?” To answer, you need to know where Saturn is today, to the degree, and compare it with your birth Moon. A general assistant does not have today’s positions: it guesses them. Here, your transits are calculated on your chart, with the exact aspect, its orb and its dates, and when you ask your chart a question, the answer starts from that calculation.

Our method
What lies behind every page, every answer and every written reading.
The calculation
Astronomical ephemerides (VSOP87 models for the planets, a reference lunar model, JPL data for Chiron), accurate to the arc minute like professional software. 99,000 places, including every French municipality, and the time zones and summer times of each period. The engine is checked against independent facts: equinoxes, full moons, eclipses to within a few minutes.
The texts
Positions, aspects and transits each have their own page. The texts are composed with the best models available, under our instructions, then reread and checked by our team; the durations and frequencies of transits are calculated, never written from memory. The process is explained on the Suggest a correction page.
The reading
The life path first: the lunar Nodes, what you are here to learn and to give. Then the structure of the chart, configurations before isolated positions. Then the areas of life: love, work, money, family. Karma as learning, never as punishment; concrete levers rather than generalities that would fit anyone.
The frame
No prediction of dated events, no medical, legal or financial advice, no wording meant to frighten. When a question touches on health, grief or distress, the answer points to the right people.
Your data
Your free chart is stored nowhere: the page address is enough to find it again. The text of the questions you ask your chart is never kept. Details are in the privacy policy.

The difference is not the tool, it is what it is given: your chart calculated to the degree, our checked texts, our rules and our method. Why does my Ascendant change from one tool to another?
Almost always because of the time, the place or the time zone. The Ascendant changes sign roughly every two hours: summer time applied wrongly, or a big city used instead of your town, is enough to tip it over. The site calculates with the coordinates of your town and the time zone in force on the day you were born.
Does the site use artificial intelligence?
Yes, to compose the texts, the written readings and the answers to your questions; never to calculate, because the calculation is astronomical. The models work on your exact chart and on our checked texts, with our rules, and can only quote the real positions of your chart.
