Sun trine Neptune: meaning in the birth chart

The Sun-Neptune trine brings your identity and the planet of inspiration into harmony within the same element. You have a refined sensitivity, an imagination that enriches everything you touch and a compassion that costs you nothing. This aspect gives a distinctive charisma, made of gentleness and mystery, and an ease in reaching the states of inspiration that artists and mystics seek all their lives. You feel a natural connection with something larger than yourself, and it soothes you.

In a relationship, you are a tender, devoted and poetic partner who can create an almost sacred intimacy and who forgives easily. In your career, the arts, music, film, photography, healing, psychology, spirituality and humanitarian work are your natural terrain; there you bring a touch of soul that makes the difference. Your relationships are marked by an intuitive understanding of others, and people feel welcomed in your presence without having to explain themselves. The Sun-Neptune trine draws confidences and beautiful encounters.

The flip side of this grace is the temptation to float: inspiration without a body of work, compassion without commitment, spirituality without practice. When everything comes easily, you forget to do the forging. To avoid resting on your laurels, impose a concrete creative or spiritual discipline on yourself, set tangible goals and accept the thankless work that turns inspiration into accomplishment. Your Sun-Neptune trine opens the doors to the invisible; it’s up to you to bring back something others can see.
