Aquarius 2nd decan (January 30–February 8): personality and meaning

Born between about January 30 and February 8, on a date that varies with the year and time of birth, you belong to the second decan of Aquarius, colored by Mercury. Uranian originality turns more mobile, more talkative, more pedagogical here: you’re the Aquarius who explains your ideas, who debates, writes, teaches and connects fields of knowledge. Your curiosity is insatiable and your mind remarkably fast. More flexible than the first decan, you love exchange as much as invention, and you have a gift for making accessible what once seemed reserved for a few insiders.

In your love life, you’re looking above all for a partner in crime of the mind: someone to talk with for hours, swap reading with, remake the world with. Tenderness comes through words and humor with you, and you need a relationship that’s light in form and deep in its exchanges. Professionally, the second decan of Aquarius shines in communications, teaching, journalism, IT, the sciences, science popularization, online networks and communities. Your relationships are countless and stimulating; you’re the one who gets information moving, who connects ideas and people and who livens up debates.

Your growth runs through depth and presence. Mercury and Uranus make an electric duo that can scatter your attention across a thousand subjects and keep you permanently in your head, far from emotions and the body. Learn to go deeper into one idea before moving to the next, to really listen instead of preparing your reply, and to feel what you’re living instead of just commenting on it. When your intelligence takes root, you become an exceptional conduit of knowledge, able not only to pass ideas on but to bring them to life.
