Capricorn 1st decan (December 22–31): personality and meaning
Saturn rules the first decan of Capricorn with no one to share the throne: you are the mountain climbed step by step, the will that never yields.
From about December 22 to 31, depending on the year and time of birth, the first decan of Capricorn concentrates the full power of Saturn. You’re the most Saturnian Capricorn: serious, structured, ambitious, with a sense of responsibility that has impressed people since childhood. You don’t look for ease but for solidity, and you’re ready to work for years to reach a summit worth reaching. Your patience is strategic, your reliability absolute, your maturity early. You build your life the way an architect builds a cathedral: methodically, and for the centuries.
In love, you’re reserved but deeply loyal: you commit slowly, carefully, and once you’ve made your choice, you’re an unshakable pillar. You express your feelings through actions, through protection, through building a stable shared future. At work, the first decan of Capricorn excels in leadership, finance, administration, engineering, architecture, politics, law: anywhere rigor and long-term vision are rewarded. Your relationships are few but indestructible; you’re the friend people count on in a storm, the one who keeps their word and never lets go.
Your key to growth is warmth. Saturn ruling twice over can make you austere, have you putting off pleasure indefinitely and lock you into the role of the responsible one who never shows fragility. Learn to express your emotions, to celebrate the milestones you’ve passed, to let others take care of you. Your solidity won’t be weakened; it will become attractive and human. The Saturnian Capricorn who allows tenderness and joy reaches not only the summit but arrives surrounded by people, and that is where success takes on its full meaning.
