Gemini 1st decan (May 21–31): personality and meaning

From about May 21 to 31, depending on the year and time of birth, the first decan of Gemini holds the Mercurial essence of the sign in its most concentrated form. You think fast, talk fast, learn fast, and your brain works like a crossroads where all the information meets. You are the purest Gemini: light, agile, playful, unable to stay on a single subject for long without linking ten others to it. Your youthfulness of mind is a trademark; whatever your age, you keep that way of looking at the world as an intellectual playground where everything deserves to be explored.

In matters of the heart, you seduce through words and humor, and you need a partner who surprises you intellectually: boredom is your only real enemy in love. Professionally, the first decan of Gemini thrives in journalism, communications, sales, teaching, translation, social media, anything that circulates and connects. Your relationships are countless and varied; you’re the one who knows everybody, introduces people to each other and keeps ideas circulating like air. Your address book is a work in itself.

Your growth runs through depth. Mercurial agility can have you skimming a thousand subjects without mastering any, and flitting from one relationship to the next without ever diving in. Choose one field, one passion, one person, and give yourself time to go to the bottom of it: you’ll find that depth is not the enemy of lightness but its finest ally. The first-decan Gemini who adds constancy to their quickness becomes a remarkable mind, able to join scholarship with intuition and to enlighten others instead of just entertaining them.
