Sagittarius 1st decan (November 22–December 1): personality and meaning

From about November 22 to December 1, depending on the year and time of birth, the first decan of Sagittarius lives under the full rule of Jupiter. You’re the most Jupiterian Sagittarius: optimistic, expansive, curious about the whole world, carried by a trust in life that borders on faith. You need space, travel, big ideas and meaning. Nothing makes you happier than a departure, a discovery, a conversation that opens a door onto another universe. Your enthusiasm is sincere, your frankness sometimes blunt but always well-meaning, and your luck comes from your boldness.

In love, you love with generosity and freedom: you want a traveling companion more than a keeper, someone to explore, laugh and philosophize with. Jealousy and narrow-mindedness make you run; trust and shared adventure make you faithful. At work, the first decan of Sagittarius excels in teaching, tourism, international business, publishing, law, philosophy, humanitarian work, sports. Your relationships are numerous, warm and borderless; you’re the friend who tells stories, who pushes others to see bigger and whose optimism restores courage on gray days.

Your key to growth is putting down roots. Jupiter ruling twice over pushes you toward ever farther, and you risk escaping into the next project or the next trip what would need to be explored in depth right here, right now. Learn to honor your commitments, to finish before you set off again, to find in depth an adventure as thrilling as distance. When your breath is matched by constancy, you become a true guide, because you no longer just point the direction: you walk the road with people, and that is where your Jupiterian wisdom comes into its own.
