Neptune moved through Sagittarius from 1970 to 1984 and shaped a generation of seekers of meaning. Yoga, meditation, trips to India, the return of Eastern philosophies, the first steps of New Age and spiritual ecology: people with Neptune in Sagittarius grew up in a world opening to beliefs from the far side of the planet. Their collective ideal is a spirituality without borders, free and joyful, one that prefers experience to dogma. This generation popularized the backpack and the travel journal, and made the search for meaning an adventure anyone can undertake.
If you carry this placement, your faith needs wide-open spaces. You’re inspired by foreign cultures, by philosophies that widen your view, by teachers who dare to say that everything is connected.
