Sun conjunct Pluto: meaning in the birth chart

The Sun-Pluto conjunction fuses your identity with the planet of transformation, power and the depths. You give off a magnetism no one can ignore, an intensity that fascinates or intimidates, and a will able to get through anything. You often went through experiences of rupture, loss or secrecy early in life that taught you how to die and be reborn. That knowledge of the depths makes you someone who goes straight to the essential and is never content with the surface of things.

In love, you love with total intensity, you want the other person’s truth and you can’t stand lukewarmness or lies; your relationships are transformative, for you as much as for your partner. At work, you excel in fields that touch on power, crisis, research, psychology, finance or strategy, anywhere you need to see what others don’t see and hold on when everything collapses. Your relationships are few but absolutely loyal, and people fear you as much as they respect you.

Your path to growth lies in exercising your power over yourself rather than over others. The Sun conjunct Pluto can push you toward control, jealousy, distrust or obsession, because the fear of losing is proportional to the capacity to love. Learn to let go, to trust, to turn the will to dominate into the will to surpass yourself. People with this conjunction who succeed at this alchemy become true forces of regeneration, able to help others rise from their ashes.
