Mercury square Venus: meaning in the birth chart

Mercury and Venus always travel side by side around the Sun: the square between these two planets is a configuration the sky almost never forms.

Mercury and Venus are the two planets closest to the Sun and, seen from Earth, they never move more than 76° apart. An exact square, at 90°, is therefore out of reach: only a very wide square, at the very edge of the orb, can appear in a few rare charts, and its influence stays discreet. If you want to understand the dialogue between your thinking and your heart, turn to the configurations these two planets actually form: the Mercury-Venus conjunction, for an intelligence fused with taste, and the Mercury-Venus sextile, for a fluid closeness between your words and your feelings. These are the two aspects that tell, in a vivid and concrete way, how you love by talking and think with elegance.
