Sun trine South Node: meaning in the birth chart

Some people have to reinvent everything to feel alive; with the Sun trine the South Node, reconnecting with what you’ve already accomplished is often enough to get you going again. This trine brings your vitality into step with what you’ve acquired, and it comes paired with a sextile to the North Node. Your arenas of success, the activities that bring you back to yourself, the gestures that restore your confidence when doubt sets in: all of it stays within reach. Your identity draws freely from a source it has known for a long time, maybe even from another life. This gift for restarting what has proven itself is real capital; the only question is what to use it for.

After a hard stretch, you know exactly where to find your energy again: the workshop, the playing field, the kitchen or the stage that has always been good to you. Former colleagues are glad to call you back for a project, confident in what you can do, and your experience opens doors without any big speeches. In your family, people recognize in you the temperament of a grandfather or an aunt, a gift for leading the troops or making everyone laugh, which you carry naturally. In love, there’s no need to play a role: you’re loved for what you’ve always been, and your steadiness is reassuring. This foundation is solid, as long as it doesn’t turn into an easy chair.

The danger with a trine is resting on your laurels: replaying known successes, changing the scenery only to land the same role, letting your energy run in a closed circuit. The sextile to the North Node, however, only switches on through a decision. Find the house and sign of your North Node, choose a concrete project there, then bring in the oldest asset of all: your way of being yourself. Your taste for leading a team can carry a nonprofit; your experience can serve as a passport for a career change; your cheerfulness can ease your first steps into an unfamiliar circle. What you have been becomes the launchpad for what you’re becoming.
