The express reading: your free, personalized birth chart reading

What is an express birth chart reading?

The express reading is a free, personalized birth chart interpretation: it doesn’t describe a sign in general, it reads your chart. The site first calculates your placements to the minute, your aspects and your houses, then the reading is composed in a few seconds from that exact chart and the site’s texts. Every sentence rests on a real placement in your chart.

It comes in titled parts. Under each title, small tags name the placements the part is built on, such as “Venus in Taurus” or “Moon trine Mars”. In the text, every placement mentioned becomes a link: you can open the page for the planet, the aspect or the house in question, then come back to your reading.

How to get your free birth chart reading

All you need to do is calculate your chart: no e-mail address is asked for, and the reading starts as soon as your chart’s page appears. Here is what you see, in order.

1. Open the birth chart calculator, enter your date, time and place of birth, then run the calculation.
2. A short waiting screen shows what is really happening: “Your birth chart, calculated to the minute”, then “Your aspects and your houses”.
3. The first words arrive within seconds: the reading writes itself before your eyes, sentence by sentence, in reserved space so the page doesn’t jump while you read.
4. The first parts are yours to read in full. Where the reading pauses, a card shows the titles of the rest and offers to let you read it with a free account.

Without a time of birth (the “I don’t know it” box), the reading is still composed, for your day of birth: it reads your planets and their aspects, without houses or Ascendant. To see what the time changes, read the help page on birth time.

What your reading covers, part by part

A complete chart reading has up to nine parts, always in the same order: it starts with who you are and ends on your life path. The titles are set by the site, so you know from the start what the rest has in store.

The last part ends on a concrete step to take this week: the reading doesn’t stop at a portrait, it gives you something to act on, drawn from your chart.

• The beginning, free with no account: “Who you are”, “What makes your chart rare” and “Your inner world”.
• The rest, with a free account: “How you love”, “How you think”, “Your hidden strengths”, “Your calling”, “Your karma” and “Your life path”.
• For a child under twelve, the reading speaks about them to their parents: “Who your child is”, “How they learn”, “The talents to nurture”, through to “Their life path”.

Four express readings: your chart, your couple, your year, your week

The same approach powers four readings, each with its own parts. They all work the same way: the beginning with no account, the rest with a free account, and the placements shown as tags and links.

• The birth chart: your natal portrait, from “Who you are” to “Your life path”.
• Compatibility: two charts read together, from “What connects you” to “Your path together”, from the compatibility calculator. Each person’s placements carry their first name.
• The solar return: the climate of your year, from one birthday to the next, through to “Your gesture for the year”, from the solar return calculator. It describes a dynamic, never a dated event.
• Transits of the week: “What is moving for you right now”, “The strongest passage”, through to “Your gesture for the week”, on My transits. How long each passage lasts, calculated by the site, appears in its tags.

To follow your week in detail, read how My transits works.

Read the rest of your reading with a free account

Where the reading pauses, a card inside the page, never a pop-up, tells you what is waiting: “How you love, how you think, your hidden strengths, your calling, your karma and your life path: create your free account, the rest of your reading is written for you and stays in your space, with 10 questions a week to your chart instead of 5.” The titles of the locked parts stay visible, marked “Part to read with your account”.

In the card, you enter your e-mail address, choose a password and tap “Read the rest”. An e-mail goes out right away: its link stays valid for twenty minutes. Once you tap it, your account opens and the rest is written on your chart’s page, below the beginning you have already read. If you already have an account, “Sign in and read the rest” does the same.

With an account, a long reading shows up to its halfway point, then a “Read on” button, followed by the number of parts left, opens the rest in one tap. It isn’t a barrier: the rest is already being written behind it, the fold simply keeps the page easy to read. Everything about your space is in the help page on the free account.

After the reading: ask a question, keep it, share it

The reading opens the conversation. After the first part, the line “A question comes to mind?” suggests a question drawn from your reading: one tap puts it in the question box, without sending it. At the end, “A question about your reading? Your chart answers you” opens the questions panel, with an example taken from your reading.

You can ask five questions a week with no account, ten with a free account. The help page on questions to your chart explains how the answers are composed from your chart.

• “Keep this chart and its reading” stores the chart and its reading in your space, where you find them on all your devices.
• “Share” sends the link to your chart, or the exact text of your reading: it is all explained on the sharing page.
• “Go further”, under a complete reading, leads to the offers, including the written reading: a 20 to 25 page PDF for €9.99, shaped by your question.

On the same device, your reading stays in memory: when you reopen your chart’s page, you find it exactly as it was, with no waiting screen.

What happens if the express reading doesn’t appear?

Sometimes the reading can’t be composed at that moment: the service is briefly unavailable, the day’s number of readings has been reached, or too many readings have been requested from the same device that day. There is nothing for you to do: the page shows the site’s classic reading instead, “What your chart says about you”, with your strengths and your levers, written from the site’s texts for your placements.

A reading that has already been composed always stays readable: the one kept on your device or in your space appears even on those days. For a new reading, come back a little later or the next day: it will be composed for you with the same care.
