Create a free astrology account: your personal space

Creating a free astrology account on My Birth Chart takes a minute: an email address, a password, then a confirmation link. Your space saves your charts, your readings and your questions on all your devices, and unlocks the rest of your readings with ten questions a week to your chart.

How do I create a free account?

It all starts on the My account page, opened by the “My account” icon at the top of every page. It opens on “Sign in”; under the form, “No account yet?” leads to “Create an account”. You must be eighteen or older, as for asking your chart questions or placing an order.

  1. Tap “Create an account”, then enter your address under “Your e-mail”.
  2. Choose a password of at least ten characters: “Show” reveals it, and your phone’s password manager can suggest one.
  3. Tick the morning horoscope box if you want it. It is never ticked in advance.
  4. Tap “Create my account”, then, within twenty minutes, the link in the email “Confirm your account on My Birth Chart”. Your space opens and you are signed in.

Nothing is created before that link. Email running late? Check your spam folder and the “Promotions” tab. And if you try “Sign in” with the password you chose before confirming, the site shows “Your account is waiting for confirmation” and offers “Send the link again”.

Creating your account from a chart, a reading or an order

You can also open your space right where you need it. Under the wheel of your birth chart, “Keep this chart” leads to the sign-up form: the chart travels with your request and is filed in your space as soon as the account exists (see keeping your chart). The form then offers “This is my own chart, not a loved one’s”, to tick only if it really is yours.

In the express reading, the parts marked “Part to read with your account” come with the “The rest of your reading is waiting” card, which holds the form: your address, a password, “Read the rest”. Once you tap the link in the email, the rest is written on your chart’s page.

When you order a written reading, the “Create my free space with this address” box does the same, never ticked in advance: you choose your password afterwards. A My Birth Chart+ subscription always opens a space, which is stated before payment.

What your personal space keeps

Once you are signed in, the account page becomes your space. It keeps what you choose to put in it, on all your devices, until you delete it:

  • “My charts”: up to twelve charts, yours and your loved ones’. The ones you calculate on a signed-in device are added automatically, and “This is my chart” says which one is yours.
  • Your readings, composed for saved charts: the express reading, the compatibility of two saved charts, the solar return and the week’s transits. You find them again by reopening their page.
  • “My conversations”: every exchange with your chart, named and summed up, to pick up where you left off with one tap on “Continue”.
  • “My orders”: your orders, their invoices (“View invoice”) and the PDF of a written reading (“Download my PDF”).
  • “My shared readings”: the links created with “Share my reading”, which you can remove whenever you like (see sharing a reading).

The account also keeps your email address and a fingerprint of your password, never the password itself. This data is hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt.

Rereading, deleting your questions or turning memory off

The questions you ask your chart while signed in are kept in “My questions”, most recent first, two hundred at most. Your chart remembers them: when a new question touches on an earlier one about the same chart, it makes the link. You stay in control of everything:

  • “Delete” removes one question and its answer;
  • “Delete my whole history” removes them all, after you confirm in a window (“Delete everything”);
  • “Stop keeping my questions” turns history off: your new questions are kept neither here nor anywhere else;
  • “Turn memory off”: your chart no longer remembers your past questions, neither to answer you nor for your morning horoscope.

What a free account unlocks

Without an account, the chart calculation, the start of the express reading, the sky today and the horoscope stay free, as do five questions a week to your chart. A free account adds:

  • The rest of your readings: the locked parts of the express reading are written for you and stay in your space.
  • Ten questions a week to your chart instead of five, counted across all your devices together; they come back every Monday (see your chart answers you).
  • The morning horoscope by email, offered through a box when you sign up: your sign’s traditional horoscope, free (see the horoscope by email).
  • Transit alerts, if you ask for them: an email, once a week at most, when Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto reach what matters to you in your chart.
  • Inviting someone close: from your space, an email with your first name opens their own free space.

Unlimited questions and the tailored horoscope, composed every morning for your chart, come with My Birth Chart+, at €9.99 a month: the subscription lives in this same space.

Signing in and protecting your account with two-step verification

To come back, “Sign in” with your address and password: you stay signed in for thirty days on that device. “Get a sign-in link” signs you in without a password, and “Forgot your password?” sends a link to choose a new one; each link lasts twenty minutes. Signing in never creates an account.

Two-step verification is optional and off by default. Once on, neither your password nor the email link is enough: every sign-in also asks for the six digits from your authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, iPhone’s built-in codes…).

  1. In your space, under “Two-step verification”, tap “Turn on”.
  2. Add the account to your app: “Copy the key”, “Add on this phone”, or the QR code from another device.
  3. Enter the first code shown, then write down your eight recovery codes and tap “I have written them down”: each one replaces the app’s code once if you lose your phone.

A refused code almost always comes from the phone’s clock: set it to automatic, then enter the code shown.

How do I delete my account?

You delete it yourself, from your space, and it is final. The confirmation window lists what disappears (your saved charts, your questions and their answers, your password, your two-step verification) and what stays: your orders and invoices, with our payment provider, as the law requires.

  1. Tap “Delete my account”, at the very bottom of your space.
  2. Type DELETE in the window, plus your app’s code if two-step verification is on.
  3. Tap “Delete permanently”: “Your account has been deleted, with the charts and questions it held.”

A running My Birth Chart+ subscription is cancelled along the way and will not renew. After three years without a sign-in, the account is also deleted on its own. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Your free space is waiting: an address, a password, and your charts follow you on all your devices.

Frequently asked questions

Is the account really free?

Yes. The account costs nothing and asks for no card: an email address and a password are enough. It keeps your charts, readings and questions, unlocks the rest of your readings and gives you ten questions a week. Only the My Birth Chart+ subscription is paid.

Can I use the site without an account?

Yes. The chart calculation, the start of the express reading, the sky today, the horoscope, My transits and five questions a week all work without an account. Your charts then stay saved on that device only, and the rest of your readings needs a free account.

I did not get the confirmation email, what should I do?

Check your spam folder and the Promotions tab: the link stays valid for twenty minutes. If you try to sign in with the password you chose, the site offers “Send the link again”. Nothing is created until you tap it.

Do I need to be an adult to create an account?

Yes. Accounts, questions to your chart, orders and My Birth Chart+ are for people aged eighteen and over, as the terms of sale state. The site’s pages stay open to everyone to explore their birth chart.

I forgot my password, what now?

Tap “Forgot your password?” and enter your address: an email goes out with a link, valid for twenty minutes, to choose a new one. You can also use “Get a sign-in link”, which signs you in without a password.

How do I delete my account for good?

From your space, tap “Delete my account”, type DELETE in the window, then “Delete permanently”. Your charts, questions and password disappear; your orders and invoices stay with our payment provider, as the law requires.
