How it works
How to share your birth chart and your reading
To share your birth chart, tap “Share” under your reading: you choose between sending the link to your chart or the exact text of your reading. The person who receives it needs no account to open it, and you can remove the link whenever you like.
Where is the button to share your birth chart?
The “Share” button sits on the line just after your reading. It appears under all four of the site’s readings: your birth chart, a compatibility reading, a solar return and your transits of the week. One tap opens a sheet, at the bottom of the screen on a phone, asking “What would you like to share?”.
Two options are waiting there, named plainly. The first always works, with or without an account; the second sends your text exactly as it is, and needs the reading to be kept in your free space.
- “Share my chart”: the link to your sky map, where the other person finds the wheel and the site’s texts.
- “Share my reading”: the exact text of your reading, just as you read it, which opens with no account.
“Share my chart”: send the link to your birth chart
This is the simplest option, available at any time. On a phone, the share menu opens and you pick Messages, WhatsApp or e-mail; where that menu doesn’t exist, the link is copied and the button shows “Link copied”. All that is left is to paste it into your message.
The other person opens your chart’s page: the wheel of your birth, your placements, your aspects and the site’s texts on each one. They don’t read your reading word for word; for that, use the second option. A chart link doesn’t expire: it is the very address of your chart, which you can send again as often as you like.
“Share my reading”: send the exact text of your reading
An express reading is composed for you, from your exact chart: sharing it as it is lets the other person read exactly what you read. For a link to open it elsewhere, it has to be kept in your space, complete, including the rest of the reading.
- With your account, read your reading to the end: the rest is written on the page as soon as you are signed in.
- If this chart isn’t in your space yet, tap “Keep this chart and its reading” (it is all explained in the help page on keeping your chart).
- Tap “Share”, then “Share my reading”: the sheet shows “Creating the link”, then “Your link is ready.”
- Tap “Send” to open your phone’s share menu, or “Copy link” to paste it wherever you like.
Without an account, the sheet tells you why in one sentence: “Without an account, your reading isn’t kept anywhere: it only exists on your phone.” It offers to keep it in your free space, then reopens by itself on your reading once the space is created. To open yours, follow the help page on the free account.
What the person who receives your reading sees
They open the link and read the whole reading, straight away, with no account, no waiting and nothing to fill in. At the top, a line says whose it is, based on the chart’s first name: “Camille’s reading”, “The compatibility of Camille and Hugo”, “Camille’s year” or “Camille’s transits of the week”, then “Sent from My Birth Chart, exactly as it was read.”
The text is yours, word for word: the same parts, the same placement tags, with no cut and no fold. In WhatsApp or Messages, the link preview already announces it, for example “Camille’s reading”. A reading opened on the French version of the site stays in English, and a line says so.
Under the reading, an invitation is waiting: “And you? Calculate your chart, free”, “Discover your own compatibility”, “And you? Calculate your year” or “And you? See your transits”. They can go from your reading to their own in one tap, without seeing anything of your space.
How long does a shared reading link stay open?
A reading link lasts one year. Transits are the exception: they describe one specific week, so their link lasts one week. After that, the page shows the current week’s transits for that chart, and says so in one line: “This link showed the transits of another week: here are this week’s.”
Tapping “Share my reading” again for the same reading gives you the same link: you don’t create a new one each time you send it. Your space keeps up to sixty links; beyond that, the oldest one is removed.
Remove a link from “My shared readings”
As soon as you create your first link, a “My shared readings” section appears in your space. Each line shows the type of reading, the first names on the charts and the date it was shared, with a button to remove it.
- Open your space and scroll down to “My shared readings”.
- Tap “Remove link” next to the reading you no longer want to share.
- The message “Link removed: it no longer opens your reading.” confirms it is done, right away.
Removing a chart from “My charts” or deleting your account also erases its links. Anyone who then opens a removed link sees the chart with its texts, and this line: “This reading is no longer shared: here is the chart, with its texts.”
Share your reading without exposing the rest of your private life
The link only opens that reading, read-only: not your space, your other charts or your questions. It contains neither your e-mail address nor your account identifier, and the site keeps no copy of the text: the link reads the reading kept in your space. Nothing is kept about the person who opens it.
Like any chart link, it leads to the chart’s page: the other person therefore sees the date, time and place of birth used for the calculation, and the first name if one was entered. Share it with people you would trust with that information. The details are in the privacy policy, under “Shared readings”.
Calculate your free birth chart: the “Share” button is waiting under its reading, with both options.
