The gift letter: what it holds, and how to read it
The letter that gifts My Birth Chart+ fits on one colour A4 page: the person’s first name in large type, the sky chart of the day they were born, your message, what the gift opens for them, a QR code and their redemption code, and where to find their exact birth time. Here is each part, in the order they read it.
A letter, slipped in flat
The letter is printed in colour on an A4 sheet by our printer, in France, then slipped flat into a large envelope: the sky chart has no fold. The address is printed on a blank page added in front; the gift page, behind it, carries nothing but the gift.
Ordered by email, the same page arrives as a PDF: you print it on an ordinary A4 sheet, or forward it as it is. Both ways are explained in gifting My Birth Chart+ by post.
Why a letter rather than a link
A link gets lost in a messaging app; a letter is opened, shown around and kept. It arrives in their name, in their letterbox, on a chosen day: a birthday, Christmas Eve, a farewell. It carries a sky that belongs to them alone, the one of the day they were born, and your message, with your first name.
It also works as a guide: everything needed to open the gift is written on it, without them having to ask you anything. The code, the deadline, the steps to follow and the birth time to prepare all fit on the same page.
“A gift for…” and the sky of their birth
At the top, their first name, in large type. Below it, the sky chart of the day they were born: the planets in their signs, calculated at noon that day, from the date you gave and nothing else. The caption says so: their birth time will then set their rising sign and their houses.
So it is not yet their full chart, and the letter does not claim to be. The slow planets and the Sun are in their places; the Moon may have moved a few degrees during the day, as explained on your birth time. The full chart is calculated after the gift is redeemed, with their exact time.
Your message
Under the chart comes your message, printed as you wrote it, up to three hundred characters, then “From” and your first name. Nothing is corrected or rewritten: read it again before you pay. A short message reads better on the page and lets the chart breathe. Two or three sentences are enough: why this gift, and what you wish them for the year ahead. Their first name and yours are what they will look at first.
What the gift opens for them
A box says what they receive when they redeem the gift, in the letter’s own words:
- thirty days of My Birth Chart+;
- their questions to their chart, without limit, with Vega;
- their horoscope composed for their chart, every morning;
- their year 2027 as a PDF, month by month: Your 2027, suggested in advance.
The QR code and the redemption code
The QR code opens with a phone camera: it leads straight to the redemption page, with the code already filled in. Next to it, the same code is written out, in the form CIEL- followed by eight characters chosen so they cannot be confused when read, with the address where it can be typed.
The code works once and keeps for twelve months: the deadline is printed on the letter, and the thirty days only start when it is redeemed, so there is no need to rush. The step-by-step guide is in redeeming a gift.
The same code is on the gift page attached to the giver’s confirmation email: a mislaid letter does not mean a lost gift.
Where to find their birth time
A last box tells them, before they redeem anything: their exact birth time matters, to the minute, and it appears on the full copy of their birth record, free in France, in their health record book, or their parents know it. The details of each source are in finding your exact birth time.
At the bottom of the page come the legal mentions: the site’s name, its address and the contact email. The page carries no price: it says what the gift opens and how to redeem it, nothing else.
Want to send one? Write your message, choose the day: the letter leaves in time.
