How it works

The theme of the week: your personalized astrology, every week

The theme of the week is the weekly guidance My Birth Chart+ subscribers receive: a PDF of 10 to 15 pages on what you are going through right now (love, work, confidence, a fear…), chosen around your interests and your transits, then read in your own chart. It is not another birth chart reading: it is support for your week, on top of the tailored reading included when you join.

What is the theme of the week?

Every week, a theme chosen for you, read in your chart. At its heart, an in-depth text written by the site’s team on a great life theme: learning to trust, healing a wound, finding your vocation, keeping your inner fire, loving without losing yourself. Around that text, a part composed for you alone, from your exact chart and the sky of your week.

It is not a sun-sign horoscope, a general text or a second birth chart reading: you already have your birth portrait; here, every week, one subject of your life right now is lit up by your chart. The same great theme does not read the same way for a Cancer Moon in the 4th house and for an Aquarius Moon in the 11th. The theme of the week connects the planets of the text to their place in your chart, and tells you why this subject is coming up for you now.

It is part of My Birth Chart+, at no extra cost: it is what you receive every week on top of your unlimited questions, your tailored morning horoscope and the tailored reading PDF included when you join.

What your weekly PDF contains

The PDF runs to 10 to 15 pages, in the layout of the site’s readings, and reads in this order:

  • The cover: “The theme of the week”, the title of the theme, the week and your first name.
  • “Your week”: why this theme now, the most active planet in your transits and, if you have set them, your interests.
  • The in-depth text: around 2,500 words in several parts, punctuated by key sentences, signed “The My Birth Chart team”.
  • “In your chart”: the planets of the text in your chart, their sign, their house and their aspects, linked to the images of the text.
  • “The work”: the practices from the text, then three concrete steps for your week.

The theme of the week reads like an appointment: one quiet read, then one step a day. The three steps of the week are made to fit into a busy life.

How the theme is chosen for you

Every week, the site picks, among the team’s texts, the one that speaks to you most. It looks first at your interests, then at the sky of your week: a text whose planets are active in your transits comes ahead of the others. Without interests, the most active planet in your transits decides.

You never receive the same text twice. Once you have read them all, the cycle starts again, never repeating the previous week’s.

The in-depth text is the same for everyone who receives it; everything else is yours: the reason for the choice, the reading in your chart and the steps of the week, composed from your exact chart, calculated to the minute.

Your interests: what your chart remembers about you

In your account, the “The theme of the week” section asks “How should it be chosen?”. Two answers, both of which read your chart, your transits, your questions and your interests:

  1. Open your account, section “The theme of the week”.
  2. Choose “From my questions” or “From my interests”, then “Save”.
  3. Under “What your chart remembers about you”, add or remove subjects: twelve at most.
  • “From my questions”: the subjects of your questions to your chart come first. They are drawn from your questions when your history and your memory are kept (see questions to your chart).
  • “From my interests”: the subjects you choose come first. You tap a tag (love, work, self-confidence…) or “Other” to write your own in a few words.

These are subjects, never your words: a list of great life themes, and nothing you write is copied. You remove them with one tap, and they are erased with your question history. Until a mode is chosen, your theme of the week starts from your chart alone.

What you need to receive it

Two things: an active My Birth Chart+ subscription, and your own chart declared in your account. The theme of the week is always read in the chart you marked as yours (“This is my own chart, not a loved one’s”), never in a loved one’s. To declare it, see saving your chart; with your birth time, the reading reaches your houses.

As long as your chart is not declared, nothing is composed: your account says so, with “Choose my chart”, and an email reminds you, once a week at most. A free account does not receive the theme of the week: it is part of the subscription.

Receiving it, reading it again, pausing it

Every week, on the day and at the time shown in your account, an email arrives: “Your theme of the week:” followed by its title, with the reason for the choice in one sentence and a personal link to your PDF. All the themes you have received stay in “My themes of the week”, in your account, to read again or download.

A busy week? “Pause”, in your account or at the bottom of each email, stops the sending; “Resume” starts it again at the next appointment. A pause changes nothing about your subscription; to end it, see cancelling.

Theme of the week, morning horoscope, tailored reading: the difference

The three complement each other. The morning horoscope follows your day, in a few lines. The theme of the week takes one great subject of life and explores it in your chart, once a week. The written reading or the tailored reading draws your whole portrait, in 20 to 25 pages.

Your interests also guide the PDFs you order for yourself: the tailored reading and the written reading take into account what matters to you right now.

The theme of the week is included in My Birth Chart+, at €9.99 a month, cancellable online, with your unlimited questions and your tailored horoscope.

Frequently asked questions

What is the theme of the week in astrology?

It is a personalized reading received every week: a great life theme, such as trust, love or vocation, chosen around your interests and your transits, then read in your own birth chart. A PDF of 10 to 15 pages, sent by email to My Birth Chart+ subscribers.

Is the theme of the week included in the subscription?

Yes. It is included in My Birth Chart+ at no extra cost, on top of unlimited questions, the tailored morning horoscope and the tailored reading included when you join. A free account does not receive it.

Can I choose the subject of my theme of the week?

You choose your interests, twelve at most, in your account, or you let your questions suggest them. The site then picks each week the text closest to you and to your transits, never sending you the same one twice.

Are my questions read to choose my theme?

Only if you chose “From my questions” and your history and memory are kept. The site keeps only subjects from a closed list, never your words, and you can remove or erase them at any time.

Why am I not receiving my theme of the week?

Most often, your chart is not declared yet: tap “Choose my chart” in your account and tick “This is my own chart” on yours. Also check that sending is not paused, and look in your spam folder.

Can I pause the theme of the week?

Yes, at any time: “Pause” in your account or at the bottom of each email. Sending starts again at the next appointment as soon as you tap “Resume”. Your subscription carries on during the pause.
