Your abundance: what your chart says about your relationship with money

In a chart, money is never a figure: it is a relationship. The one you have with value, security, receiving and giving. Enter your birth details, and the site reads your 2nd house, Jupiter, the Part of Fortune and your D2 and D11 charts, for a six-part reading that ends with a simple step.

Your date, time and place of birth. Without the time, the reading works from your planets: the exact time adds the houses, the Ascendant and the Vedic charts.

Value before money

Two people with very different charts can live the same material situation and feel it in opposite ways: one feels fulfilled, the other feels short. Astrology does not look at your bank account, it looks at what creates that feeling in you. What reassures you? What do you consider worth being paid for? Where do you hold back from asking?

That is the ground of this reading. It gives no advice on saving, spending or investing, quotes no amount and promises no fortune. It sheds light on your relationship with value, the talents of yours that create it, the way you welcome what comes to you, and the brakes that, once understood, become supports.

The journey in six steps

Your reading, composed from your exact chart, writes itself before your eyes in this precise order:

  1. Your relationship with money: the 2nd house, the planet that rules it, and Venus, which shows what you love and what you value.
  2. What pays off for you: the talents that create value, read in the 10th and 6th houses, the Midheaven and the Sun.
  3. Your abundance: Jupiter, the planet of expansion, the 11th house of gains and support, and the Part of Fortune.
  4. Your D2 and your D11: the Hora, what you build up, and the Rudramsha read as the chart of gains, with the D10 in support.
  5. What frees your abundance: Saturn, the 8th house and Pluto, each brake turned into a strength.
  6. Your step towards abundance: one simple thing to do in the coming days.

The 2nd house and Venus: what is precious to you

The 2nd house holds the resources that are truly your own: possessions, but also your voice, your tastes, your sense of your own worth. Its sign describes the way you feel safe. In Taurus, it loves the concrete and the lasting; in Sagittarius, it feeds on horizons and meaning; in Aquarius, it cares more about freedom than about piling things up. The houses page describes all twelve.

Venus completes the portrait. She shows what attracts you, what you find beautiful, and so what you naturally value. A Venus in Virgo prizes careful work and a service well rendered; in Leo, creation and generosity that shows. When your 2nd house and your Venus pull in different directions, the reading says so: that is often where a tug between security and pleasure sits.

Jupiter, the 11th house and the Part of Fortune

Jupiter enlarges everything he touches. His house points to the area where things come to you most easily, often through trust, teaching or encounters. The 11th house speaks of what arrives through others: networks, friendships, group projects, wishes that take shape.

The Part of Fortune is a point calculated from the Sun, the Moon and the Ascendant. It marks the place where you find your most natural well-being, the kind that is never forced. It needs a birth time, like the Ascendant it depends on.

  • Jupiter in the 6th house: abundance comes through useful work, done wholeheartedly.
  • Jupiter in the 9th house: through knowledge, distant places, passing things on.
  • An occupied 11th house: support counts as much as personal effort.

D2, D11 and D10: three charts, three questions

On the Vedic side, the reading opens three divisional charts, each for a different question. The D2 Hora splits every sign between the Sun and the Moon: it tells whether what you keep is built mostly through boldness and visibility, or through patience and care.

The D11 Rudramsha, read here as the chart of gains, looks at what comes into your life and along which paths. The D10 Dashamsha comes in support: it is a reminder that value is often born of an activity, and it shows which one bears the most fruit.

These charts need the birth time. Without it, the reading stays with your Western chart, with no houses, no Ascendant, no Midheaven and no Part of Fortune: the planets in their signs already say a great deal, especially Venus, Jupiter and Saturn.

Brakes, turned into strengths

Saturn, the 8th house and Pluto are often read as blocks. The reading takes them differently. Saturn shows where you learnt caution, sometimes too early; once that lesson has matured, it gives a rare ability to build over time. The 8th house speaks of what is shared, passed on, entrusted: lived well, it opens the way to mutual trust.

Pluto, finally, shows where you fear losing control, and therefore where you can reinvent yourself deeply. Each brake thus becomes a precise pointer: not what stops you, but what, once tamed, makes you solid.

Example: a 2nd house in Cancer

Let us imagine a chart, as an example. The 2nd house is in Cancer, ruled by the Moon placed in the 6th house; Venus is in Taurus. Jupiter sits in the 11th house, the Part of Fortune in the 5th, and Saturn in the 8th. In the D2, the Ascendant falls in Cancer, the hora of the Moon.

The reading would speak of a need for emotional security as much as material security, fed by a daily life that is useful to others (the Moon in the 6th) and by a taste for simple, beautiful things (Venus in Taurus). Jupiter in the 11th says that bonds and groups carry this person further than solitary effort; the Part of Fortune in the 5th places joy in creating. Saturn in the 8th names a wariness about what is shared, and turns it into a strength: loyalty, the ability to keep commitments.

The suggested step: write one sentence describing what you bring to others, without false modesty, and say it to someone this week.

Read, reread, keep going

Reread your reading a few days later: the sentences that unsettle or move you are often the truest. Then compare it with your full birth chart, and with the page on Venus or Jupiter among the planets.

A precise question, about a period of doubt or a project close to your heart, can go to Your chart answers you. For the side of work that creates this value, the career reading carries this one further.

Frequently asked questions

Which house of the birth chart is about money?

Mainly the 2nd house, that of personal resources and the sense of your own worth, and the 11th house, that of gains and support. The 8th house speaks of what is shared and passed on. In Vedic astrology, the D2 chart, the Hora, is added, along with the D11 read as the chart of gains.

Does the reading tell me whether I will be rich?

No. It promises no gain and quotes no amount. It describes your relationship with value and security, the talents that create wealth in the broad sense, and what frees or holds back your abundance.

What does Jupiter mean in an abundance reading?

Jupiter is the planet of expansion and trust. His house shows the area where things come to you most easily, and his sign the way you welcome what arrives. In the D2, tradition likes him in the hora of the Sun, the half of initiative.

What if my Saturn is in the 2nd or the 8th house?

It is not a bad sign. Saturn there shows a caution learnt early, sometimes a fear of going without. The reading turns it into a strength: patience, regularity, the ability to build something that lasts. It is often with the years that this Saturn gives its best.

Do I need my birth time for this reading?

It is recommended. Without a time, the reading works from the Western chart alone: Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in their signs, with no houses and no Part of Fortune. The Vedic D2, D10 and D11 charts are only read with the time, because their Ascendants change quickly.
