How it works
The topics of the tailored reading: up to ten, and how they share the PDF
In your tailored reading, you tick up to ten topics to explore: your relationship, your calling, money, your parents, vitality, karma… The PDF keeps its 20 to 25 pages: each topic has its own chapter as long as there is room, then neighbouring topics share a chapter, each with its own part.
How many topics can you choose, and where?
Topics are chosen on the “Compose my tailored reading” page of your space, once you have picked the reading: full, your year ahead, your relationship or your child. You can tick up to ten, depending on the reading and what you add alongside.
Above the list, “3 more topics” tells you what is left; when the PDF is full, the page says so, and you remove a topic to choose another one. At the top of the list, “From your questions” gathers the topics closest to what you ask your chart in the chat.
Fewer topics give longer chapters: up to three requested chapters, each one takes three pages when there is room. Ten topics give a broader reading, where each has its own, shorter part.
The topics, group by group
Topics are arranged by group, in the order they come in the PDF. Some are not offered for every reading: a child has no “Relationship” topic, and “My year ahead” is already a solar return.
- Love: Relationship, Meeting someone, Attraction, Breakup and rebuilding, Compatibility with someone close.
- Work: Calling, Career change, Money, Starting a venture, Success and recognition, Studies and learning.
- Family: Parents, Children, Siblings, Family legacy, Friendships and circles.
- Yourself: Confidence, Emotions, Talents, Creativity, Wounds and healing (Chiron), Vitality and inner resources, Shadow side (Pluto).
- Life path: Lunar nodes, Karma and South Node memory, Mission.
- Spirituality: Intuition, 12th house, Neptune, Spiritual path.
- Places: Moving home, Travel, Living abroad.
- Current cycles: Saturn return, Eclipses, Solar return, Major transits ahead, calculated by the site with their dates.
- Other: a topic of your own, in a few words, 160 characters at most.
Studies, friendships, vitality, spiritual path: what these four topics read
Four topics open areas that the standard chapters only touch on in passing. Each one starts from the placements in your chart that speak to it:
- Studies and learning: Mercury, Jupiter, the 3rd and 9th houses; the way you learn, what fascinates you, the right setting to study. For a child, the way they understand and remember, never a predicted result.
- Friendships and circles: the 11th house, Venus, Mercury, Uranus; the friendships that feed you, your place in a group, the bonds that lift you up and those that drain you.
- Vitality and inner resources: the Ascendant and its ruler, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, the 1st and 6th houses; what recharges you, your rhythm, what you can lean on through a difficult time. Never medical: no diagnosis, no prognosis, no care advice.
- Spiritual path: Jupiter, Neptune, the 9th and 12th houses, the North Node; the kind of spirituality that speaks to you, practice, silence, passing on or nature, and the next step of your growth, with no religion or teacher imposed.
“Vitality and inner resources” reads well with the context: say what you are going through, and the chapter takes it into account.
When topics share a chapter
The PDF runs to 20 to 25 pages, whatever you choose: pages are never added to fit more topics. For a full reading, up to six chapters are set aside for your topics; the calendar of your twelve months and your questions also take pages, and leave fewer.
Beyond that, neighbouring topics share a chapter: three at most per chapter, preferably from the same group, in the catalogue’s order. Each keeps its own part, opened by a subheading with its name, and the chapter ties them together. A topic of your own only shares a chapter as a last resort.
An example: for a full reading, you tick Relationship, Meeting someone, Calling, Talents, Karma, Spiritual path and Moving home, seven topics for six chapters. Your relationship and meeting someone come together in “Your love life (tailored)”, with a part each; the other five keep their own chapter, such as “Your calling (tailored)”.
Before you compose, the page says how many chapters your topics take up, “7 topics in 6 chapters”, and the contents of your PDF build up before your eyes.
The title of a shared chapter
A chapter that brings together topics from the same group takes the group’s name: “Your love life”, “Your work and your money”, “Your family and your bonds”, “Your deeper nature”, “Your soul and its direction”, “Your inner life”, “Your places in life” or “Your current cycles”. Topics from different groups keep their titles, joined: “Your calling and Your confidence”.
All of them carry the “(tailored)” mark in the contents, like single-topic chapters. For a child, the titles speak of them: “Their deeper nature”, “Their gifts and their future”. The rest of the PDF, chapter by chapter, is described in the tailored reading as a PDF.
What else takes pages: the calendar and your questions
Two choices take pages just like your topics. The calendar of your next twelve months takes three. Your questions, the main one and those taken from the chat, take one to three depending on how many there are. The standard chapters, your dominant themes, your inner world, love and relationships, work and money, then fill what is left; a topic that already covers one of them replaces it.
If the page tells you “Too many topics for a 20 to 25 page PDF”, remove a topic, or leave out the calendar or a question: the PDF keeps its length and stays easy to read. For a free taste of your year, the solar return shows its chart.
Topics and Vedic astrology
With the “With Vedic astrology” option, each topic also calls for its divisional charts: the D9 for your relationship and meeting someone, the D10 for your calling, the D24 for studies, the D20 for the spiritual path, the D27 and the D6 for vitality.
The “Your Vedic chart” chapter takes two pages, the professional mode two more: for a full reading, five or four chapters are then left for your topics, and neighbouring topics share a chapter more often. The details: Vedic astrology in your PDF.
