Vega keeps the thread: following and resuming an astrology conversation

Vega keeps the thread of your conversation: each question goes with your latest exchanges, so “And for my work?” is enough to carry on. The conversation follows you from page to page and survives a reload; “New conversation” starts again from a blank page. With a free account, your conversations are filed in your space, and your chart remembers your past questions.

How does Vega understand a follow-up question?

You don’t have to write everything out again with each message. Along with your question, the site sends your latest exchanges with Vega about the same person: she knows what you were talking about, and a short question such as “And in love?” or “Why?” picks the subject up where it was.

Each exchange stays attached to the chart it concerns: if you then open Hugo’s chart, only the exchanges about Hugo go with your questions about him, and his placements are never mixed up with yours. Vega and your loved ones explains how she reads someone else’s chart.

  • “And for my work?”, after a question about your chart.
  • “And next week?”, after a question about the present moment.
  • “Explain that last point more simply.”

The basics of the chat, from the round button to the week’s free questions, are in how to use Vega.

Switching to Vedic without losing the thread

The conversation can also move from one zodiac to the other. After a question about your chart, “And in Vedic?” is enough: Vega takes the same subject into your sidereal chart and crosses the two readings, the verdict first, then the Western chart, the Vedic D1, the chart for that area of life and the current period. She says when she is speaking in Vedic terms and never mixes up the placements of the two zodiacs: about 24 degrees separate them, which is normal.

A follow-up question can also name a chart: “And in my D9?” for love, “my D10” for your career; the D60 is only read with a birth time certain to the minute. Your birth time is needed: Vega and Vedic astrology goes further.

A conversation that follows you from page to page

The conversation lives in your browser tab. From your birth chart to an interpretation page, such as those on the planets, then on to My transits, the panel keeps your exchanges, and the line “Continuing your conversation” reminds you of it when you come back to the same person. Vega also knows which page you are on.

It survives a page reload as well as going back. As long as the tab holds a conversation, the round button at the bottom right reads “Continue the conversation”. Closing the tab clears it: without an account, the conversation lasts as long as your visit.

This conversation stays in this tab: another tab or another device can’t see it, unless you pick it up from your space with an account.

Starting from a blank page, or picking up in a new tab

To change the subject, tap “New conversation”: the exchanges sent with your questions start again from zero. When you are signed in, the questions already filed in your space stay where they are.

A new tab opens on a blank page. Signed in to your account, and if you keep your history, the panel offers once, the first time it opens, “Pick up your last conversation?”, for the one less than thirty days old: “Pick it up” reopens it where you left it, “New question” starts from zero.

Your conversations kept in your space

With a free account, every question is filed in your space, and the “My conversations” section gathers them: each conversation gets a title and a two-sentence summary, most recent first. You find it again by a word, a first name or a planet, or by topic: love, work, money, family, life path, the present moment.

“Continue” reopens the conversation on the chart’s page, where it left off, and the next question goes with its latest exchanges. A conversation as two picks up with “Continue as two”; if the other chart isn’t kept in your space, the site asks you to add their birth details again in the chat.

  1. Sign in, then open your space.
  2. In “My conversations”, search for a word or tap a topic.
  3. Tap “Continue”: the chart’s page opens, with the conversation in the panel.
  4. Ask your next question, without explaining anything again.

“Your chart remembers”: the memory of your questions

When you are signed in, your chart remembers too: when a new question connects with ones you have already asked about the same birth chart, through the topic or shared words, over the last ninety days and three at most, Vega makes the link in her answer. A line under it says so: “Your chart remembers: you talked about it on …”, with the date and a link to “My questions”.

Memory never applies without an account, nor for a compatibility: it only covers your questions about one same person. If you receive your horoscope by e-mail, it also starts from what is on your mind. Memory turns off with one tap, and back on the same way.

Everything you can adjust and delete

Everything is managed under “My questions” in your space, where your questions are sorted by chart, most recent first. Tapping a question picks its conversation up where it stopped, and each setting is a single button:

  • “Delete” removes one question and its answer.
  • “Delete my whole history” clears everything, wherever your questions are kept, after a confirmation: what is deleted does not come back.
  • “Stop keeping my questions” turns the history off for the next ones, and memory with it; “Keep my questions again” turns it back on.
  • “Turn memory off” makes your chart forget your past questions; “Turn memory back on” restores it.
  • “New conversation”, in the panel, clears the conversation in the tab.

A question about health, pregnancy, bereavement, legal proceedings or money to invest is never kept: the site points you to a professional. What is kept, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy.

Vega is waiting at the bottom right of every page. Her page shows everything she can do, with questions to try in a single tap.

Frequently asked questions

Does Vega understand a follow-up question?

Yes. Each question goes with your latest exchanges about the same person: “And for my work?” or “Why?” is enough, Vega knows what you were talking about. To change the subject completely, tap “New conversation” and she starts again from a blank page.

What happens to the conversation if I change page or reload?

It follows you. The conversation lives in your browser tab: it moves from one page of the site to the next, survives a reload or going back, and the line “Continuing your conversation” reminds you of it. It is cleared when you close the tab.

How do I pick up an astrology conversation started yesterday?

With a free account: open “My conversations” in your space, find it by a word or by topic, then tap “Continue”. When you are signed in, a new tab also offers “Pick up your last conversation?”. Without an account, the conversation only lasts as long as the tab.

What does “Your chart remembers” mean?

When you are signed in and a new question connects with one already asked about the same birth chart, through the topic or shared words, Vega makes the link, and this line says so under the answer, with the date of the earlier question. Never without an account, never for a compatibility.

How do I delete my conversations or turn memory off?

Under “My questions” in your space: “Delete” removes one question, “Delete my whole history” clears everything, “Stop keeping my questions” turns the history off and “Turn memory off” makes your chart forget your past questions. “New conversation” clears the one in the tab.
