Vega on your phone: full screen, your conversations and “Try again”
On a phone, Vega opens in full screen, like a messaging app: the conversation takes the whole screen, your conversations open in a panel on the left, an answer that doesn’t come through can be tried again with one tap, and your browser’s back gesture closes the chat without leaving the page. On a computer, Vega stays a column on the right of the page.
Vega opens in full screen on your phone
Tap the bubble at the bottom right of any page: Vega fills the screen. The page you were reading stays underneath, in its place, and no longer scrolls while you type. The field follows your phone’s keyboard as it rises and falls, so your question and the send button always stay in view.
The header fits on two short lines. At the top: the button for your conversations panel, Vega’s name, the “New conversation” button and the arrow that tucks the chat away. Below: what the page offers Vega, for example “Camille’s chart”, with the other charts she knows. The rest of the screen is for the conversation.
- Tap Vega’s bubble, at the bottom right of the page.
- Type or dictate your question in the field, then tap the send arrow.
- To go back to the page, tap the arrow at the top or use your browser’s back gesture: the page is exactly where you left it.
The conversation isn’t lost when you put Vega away: the bubble offers to pick it up again, from page to page, as Vega keeps the thread explains.
Your conversations, in a panel on the left
The three-line button at the top left opens the panel of your conversations. At the top, “New conversation” starts from a blank page. Below, the current conversation, which you can copy with one tap to keep or share it. The panel closes with a tap on the shade, a swipe to the left or its cross.
Signed in to your space, the panel also shows your saved conversations, titled and sorted into “Today”, “Previous 7 days” and “Older”. Tap one: it picks up in the chat with its questions and answers, and you carry on where you were. These are the same conversations as in your space.
- Without an account, the conversation lives in your browser tab: the panel offers a free account to find all your conversations again, on all your devices.
- With an account, only the conversations your space keeps appear: if you chose to stop saving your questions, the panel stays empty.
- The panel never shows a date or place of birth: only each conversation’s title and its date.
When an answer doesn’t come through: “Try again”
Switching from Wi-Fi to 5G, a tunnel, a slow server: sometimes an answer doesn’t arrive. If the connection drops before the first word, the site sends the question a second time on its own, without asking you anything. If the answer still doesn’t come through, a “Try again” button appears under the message: tap it and the same question goes out again, in the same place.
A question that didn’t come through isn’t counted against you: the site gives it back to your weekly allowance. And if the answer was cut off on the way, the text already written stays on screen, with “Answer interrupted” and the same button to ask for it in full.
Stopping an answer, and getting back to the end
While Vega is writing, the send button becomes a square: tap it to stop the answer. What she has already written stays readable, marked “Answer stopped”, with “Try again” if you want the full answer after all. Handy when you want to rephrase your question without waiting for the end.
Your question moves to the top of the screen when you send it, and the answer is written below it, the way you read. If you scroll up to reread an earlier exchange, or a long answer runs past the screen, a down arrow appears above the field: tap it to get back to the end of the conversation.
In-depth answers that take everything into account
The length of an answer follows your question. A notion or a fact gets a short answer. A question about you, your love life or your work gets a reading that connects every position in your chart that answers it: the house concerned, the sign on its cusp, its ruler and where it sits, the planets inside it. A deep question, about your life path or a divisional chart in Vedic astrology, gets a complete reading of that chart.
Long answers are organised in parts, each opened by a bold subheading, and key positions are in bold: you can see at a glance where the reading is going. Each position named is still a link to its interpretation page on the site, as in every answer of Ask your chart.
Transits and today’s sky only enter an answer when you ask for them: “right now”, “this year”, “my transits”. A question about your chart gets a reading of your birth chart, with no detour through today’s sky (Vega and the present moment).
And on a computer?
On a computer, Vega stays a column on the right of the page, a little wider than before, the width of a large phone: you read the page and the conversation side by side. The “Full screen” button in her header opens a workspace across the whole screen, which “Minimise”, the Escape key or the browser’s back button close.
“Try again”, “Stop”, the arrow to the end, and the bold text and subheadings of in-depth answers are the same as on a phone. “Copy the conversation” and “New conversation” stay under the conversation, and your saved conversations are in “My conversations” in your space.
Vega is waiting at the bottom right of every page, on a phone as on a computer. Her page shows everything she can do.
