The professional mode: all your divisional charts in your tailored reading

What the professional mode reads, and who it is for

The “With Vedic astrology” option picks eight charts at most, from your topics and your context. The professional mode, the third choice under “Vedic astrology (optional)”, gives them all to the reading. It is a study reading, for those who practise Jyotish, are learning it, or want to see their chart from every angle:

• The nineteen divisional charts: D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D12, D16, D20, D24, D27, D30, D40, D45 and D60, on top of the D1.
• The seven Jaimini karakas: from the Atmakaraka, what the soul comes to accomplish, to the Darakaraka, the spouse; see the karakas.
• Your Vimshottari major period now running, with its dated sub-periods.
• The dignities and rulerships of your D1: which planet is strong, which planet rules which house.

The “For the initiated: degrees, aspects, orbs” style suits this mode, for a reading that quotes the degrees and names the aspects.

The “Your divisional charts” chapter

On top of “Your Vedic chart”, the professional mode adds a chapter that reviews every chart, grouped by area of life. For each one, in one to three sentences: the chart’s Ascendant, the planet that speaks loudest in it, what the chart says about you, and what crossing it with your Western chart confirms.

• Resources: the D2, the D4, the D11 and the D16.
• Bonds: the D3, the D7, the D9 and the D12.
• Career and knowledge: the D10 and the D24.
• Trials and strengths: the D6, the D8, the D27 and the D30.
• Soul and merit: the D5, the D20, the D40, the D45 and the D60.

Every chart has its own page in the site’s encyclopedia: the divisional charts presents them all, with the birth time accuracy each one needs.

Every chapter crossed with every chart

In your tailored chapters, the professional mode starts with the topic’s charts, the D10 and the D9 for your calling, the D2 and the D11 for money, then adds any other divisional chart that sheds light on it, the karakas and your current period when it touches the topic. Every Vedic sentence names its chart, and placements from the two zodiacs are never mixed.

The “Your Vedic chart” chapter grows richer too: besides the Ascendant and the Moon with their nakshatras, the Atmakaraka and the Karakamsha, it gives the dignities and rulerships of the D1, the seven karakas and the current major period with its dated sub-periods. Your birth time, the key to the fine charts

Every divisional chart has its own Ascendant, which changes sign all the faster as the chart gets finer: about a quarter of an hour for the D9, around ten minutes for the D10 and the D12, two minutes for the D60. The professional mode reads them all, so its accuracy depends on your birth time.

The PDF takes this into account: charts beyond the D12 are read gently, as a lead, and the birth time accuracy they need is stated simply. With a rounded time, rely first on the D1, the D9 and the D10; calculation accuracy explains where your chart’s placements come from and what can make them vary.

Trials and periods: what the PDF never says

The D6, D8 and D30 are read as trials and the strength to get through them, never as an illness, an accident or misfortune foretold. Karma, when the D60 speaks of it, is understood as learning and memory, never as a debt or a punishment.

The dated sub-periods describe climates: what a season of your life brings to the fore, and the levers it offers. They never date an event; the details of the periods are in the Vimshottari dashas.

Same price, same pages: what it changes for your topics

The professional mode costs nothing extra: it is part of the tailored reading included in My Birth Chart+, at the same price as a reading without options. The PDF keeps its 20 to 25 pages: “Your Vedic chart” and “Your divisional charts” take two pages each from your topics.

How to choose the professional mode

Everything happens on the composing page of your space, with a chart that has its birth time in “My charts”:

1. In your space, tap “Compose my tailored reading”, then choose who it is for, the chart and the reading.
2. Choose your topics, and write or dictate your context if you wish.
3. Under “Vedic astrology (optional)”, choose “Professional mode”.
4. Choose the style, tick the box for the terms and conditions of sale, then tap “Compose my tailored reading”.
